Kendra M. Crook, RN
Assistant Director of Nursing
Graduated in 2007 from Fort Dodge Senior High “GO DODGERS” in Fort Dodge, IA. She attended Iowa Central Community College, where she went to Nationals for two years for Track and Field and played basketball for the ICCC-tritons. Kendra was attending college for pre-vet and graduated in 2009 with her AA in Science. In 2009, her father passed away and her college plans were changed. Her original plan was to become a Vet; however, she decided to attend to the University of Dubuque for the nursing program. She obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant certification and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending school. In 2011, she pulled herself out of the nursing program due to having a child. After that time, she continued on and obtained her Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts in 2013. Kendra moved back to her hometown and enrolled in the nursing program at ICCC, and graduated in 2014 with her Registered Nurse degree. In 2014, Kendra, her two children (RaShaun and Naida), and their father (Austin) moved to North Tampa to start their family. She has been with The Bristol since 2014 as a floor nurse and moved into the Night Supervisor position. Kendra decided to take some time away and worked at the Hillsborough community jail. She returned full-time with The Bristol as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - unit manager. In 2018, she became the Assistant Director of Nursing of the community, which she loves. When Kendra is not running to baseball, football, or soccer practice, she enjoys reading on evidence-based practice in the nursing field, and identifying ways to improve areas at The Bristol.
